Sunniva Rødland is an innovative Norwegian harpist living at Nesodden outside of Oslo. Her main artistic focus is on contemporary music and crossing the boundaries between music and the visual arts. As an independent musician, she has more than 20 years of experience. Rødland has world premiered 16 solo works for harp and collaborated with many composers. In 2015 she concluded her artistic research (PhD) at the Norwegian Artistic Research Programme/Norwegian Academy of Music. Today, Rødland divides her time between her own productions and projects, freelance performances and teaching.
